PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE

HI TEMP PS

"HI TEMP" PS Hook and Loop Tape is a high temperature resistance, high performance pressure sensitive coating designed to bond hook and loop fasteners to a variety of substrates such as aluminum, stainless steel, painted metal, glass, polycarbonate, abs plastic, polystyrene, polyamides, rigid pvc, phenolic-malamine, etc..

Typical physical properties of 1" wide tape bonded to aluminum are:

1. Peel Adhesion (PSTC-1) 100 oz/inch

2. Shear Adhesion (Modified PSTC-7)
Creep for 1" x 1" bonded area with 1 lb. load
    Creep at room temperature none
    Temperature for 1/16" Creep 300 F

3. Tensile Load (1" x 1" area) 65 lb.s

4. Useful Service Range -40 F to 240 F

Surface must be cleaned and dry, preferably with a solvent, before bonding.
For best results, bonding is recommended at room temperature of 60 to 75 F.
